Explaining ingredients before cooking

Explaining Ingredients

Beforehand, Judith had prepared the ingredients and laid them out nicely and even labelled them! Many people we're taking notes. Labelling the ingredients must have been really helpful, especially since not everyone is a native English speaker.
Best way to remember, film it.

Best way to remember, film it.

When Judith is teaching, she gives lots of cooking advice. Impossible to remember it all. So can completely understand wanting to either take notes or film the lessons.

Most of the people who came out were women. So who else came? Well the next biggest group was foreigner guys. Shown here posing with the food made during the cooking lesson.

Love those banana donuts

Love those banana donuts

Ready for prime time on Japanese cooking shows. This is how you convey that what you are eating is beyond words delicious. That's banana donuts. How do you think they taste?
Making pilaf rice

The ingredients shown from left to right; coconut powder, coconut milk, tomato sauce (i believe). Coconut powder is added while cooking the rice. Coconut milk and tomato sauce is added after the rice cooker has finished cooking the rice.
Midway through the cooking lesson

We are't finished preparing the food. Many of the sauces have been prepared.

Finally time to eat!

Finally time to eat!

Finally we get to eat. Had plenty of time to get to know one another. The balcony, in the background, is where we throw everyone's belongings.
Spices

Thanks for labelling the spices

The left portion of the counter top, Judith laid out the spices and labelled them. This made it easy for her to explain how to prepare variations of each dish.
