Workflow

2. teacher
3. event organizer
4. deal promoter
5. promoter

deal promoter -- A promoter creates a deal

  1. Promoter consults with shop owner to agree to payment (and customer discount)
  2. Promoter creates ad copy and submits shop owner for approval
  3. Promoter places press release, so all promoters know about the deal!!

Two methods of dealing with payment. The deal promoter invoices the client or each promoter invoices the client directly. In the latter case, the deal promoter should keep an eye on their inbox. Promoters will ask for the client's billing information.

Stick with deals that promoters will be willing to introduce customers for. Low balling the reward is equivalent to spamming.

  1. Promoters decide whether reward is sufficient. If yes...
  2. Place ad or sends email with deal tracking url
  3. Customer sees ad and applies for coupon
  4. Reward can change over time. But once a customer applies for a coupon, the reward for that customer can no longer be changed.
  5. Customer takes coupon to shop
  6. Customer shows coupon to shop owner for discounted services
  7. Shop owner validates coupon with validation code (shop owner should not allow discount without validation)
  8. Promoter bills shop owner once a month for validated coupons

  9. Include these rules on the lesson tickets: Reservations are required. Can bring friends.
  10. Include the reservation url. o=[teachers code] a=[party or media or yourself]
  11. Partner with a party, media, or sell them directly. Have them sell prepaid tickets for lessons.
